1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Lattice Chrome extension (“Lattice”, “the extension”) or accessing Lattice pages on this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the extension.
2. Description of Service
Lattice is a browser extension that helps Amazon Vine reviewers organize information about their Vine activity, including orders, items, reviews, and related statistics. The extension operates locally in your browser and may optionally store backup data in your Google Drive account if you enable that feature.
3. Independent Project and No Affiliation
- Lattice is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc., Google LLC, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.
- “Amazon” and “Vine” are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates and are used here only to describe compatibility.
- Lattice does not provide search, purchasing, or recommendation advantages on Amazon. It only reads and organizes information you already have access to in your account.
4. Automation and Use at Your Own Risk
- Lattice automatically fetches and parses your Amazon Vine pages in your browser to maintain a local database and to generate charts and tables. It does not submit reviews or place orders for you.
- Amazon heavily discourages automation. While Lattice is designed to respect that boundary, you use the extension at your own risk. The developer is not responsible for any actions Amazon may take regarding your account, including rate limits (often called “Vine Jail”), warnings, or account restrictions.
- Large or frequent refreshes may trigger temporary limits or additional verification on Amazon. You are responsible for configuring refresh options in a way that you are comfortable with.
5. User Responsibilities
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Lattice.
- You must comply with the Amazon Vine program rules and Amazon’s terms of use. If Amazon’s policies change, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of Lattice remains compliant or for discontinuing use.
- You must comply with Google’s terms and policies when connecting your Google account and using Google Drive.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices, browser, and Google account, including keeping your system up to date.
6. Google Drive and Third-Party Services
When you connect your Google account, Lattice uses Google OAuth and Google Drive APIs to create and manage backup files in your Drive. Your relationship with Google is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policies.
Lattice also uses open-source libraries such as Chart.js, Linkedom, Inter, and JSZip under their
respective licenses (MIT, ISC, SIL Open Font License, MIT). A detailed list and license information is
provided in the project’s third-party license documentation (for example,
THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md in the source or extension package).
7. No Warranty
LATTICE AND RELATED PAGES ON THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
There is no guarantee that Lattice will remain compatible with Amazon Vine, Amazon’s site layout, or Google’s APIs. Future changes by Amazon, Google, or browser vendors may break or degrade functionality.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Lattice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the extension.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with Lattice is to stop using the extension, uninstall it, and remove any related data or backups.
9. Modifications to the Service or Terms
Lattice and these Terms may be updated at any time. Changes may be communicated through the extension’s changelog, release notes, or this website. Continued use of Lattice after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
- You may stop using Lattice at any time by uninstalling the extension and, if desired, revoking its access to your Google account and deleting any related backup files in Google Drive.
- The developer may discontinue or change the extension at any time without notice, including removing it from the Chrome Web Store or ceasing updates.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Lattice will be resolved in that jurisdiction’s courts, subject to any applicable consumer-protection laws.
