Terms of Use

Terms for the CodexContinue plugin and optional scripts.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Use of CodexContinue

These terms apply to the CodexContinue plugin, bundled scripts, and associated project pages provided by CloudD901. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the plugin and scripts.

You may use CodexContinue for your personal or business tasks, subject to applicable law and the terms of the services you use. This permission does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or services.

Free project and third-party services

CodexContinue is provided without payments or purchases. OpenAI account requirements, subscriptions, usage limits, charges, and terms apply separately. The plugin is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.

Native scheduling depends on host-supplied tools. The optional Windows scripts depend on Windows Task Scheduler and the Codex CLI. Future host, operating-system, or API changes may affect compatibility.

Your responsibility for scheduled work

Schedule only work you are authorized to perform on the selected chat, account, files, and project. Review the target, time zone, continuation message, and applicable permissions before leaving a task unattended. Keep appropriate backups and protect credentials and local logs.

Scheduled work may read or change project files and take other actions authorized in the chat. You remain responsible for the instructions you supply and the resulting use of your account and projects. Do not use CodexContinue to bypass host safeguards or account limits.

Availability and cancellation

A scheduled continuation is an intended dispatch, not a guarantee of execution, account reset, or successful completion. The computer, app, account, tools, and project must be available; approvals or usage limits may prevent work.

You can cancel a future schedule through the host’s controls or the plugin workflow. Cancellation does not undo or necessarily stop work already dispatched. Uninstalling the plugin should not be assumed to remove existing schedules, Windows tasks, or local logs; manage them separately.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CodexContinue and these pages are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility. To that same extent, the developer is not liable for losses resulting from use or inability to use the project, including missed schedules or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not specify a governing jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

The project may be updated or discontinued. Changes to these terms will use a fixed revision date on this page. You may stop using the plugin and scripts at any time.
